Face Paints - Cake
All paints available through Face Paints Direct are professional face paint products which comply with FDA and EU standards. If fact, we don't sell anything we wouldn't use on our own children! However, as with all cosmetic type products some people may be sensitive to some ingredients and may on a rare occasion have a reaction.
Please also note that some face paints will stain. Green, blue and black are especially known for leaving a faint tinge to the skin and this is common across all brands. This will fade. Baby shampoo is also sometimes useful if there is difficulty in removing a particular shade.
Plain water and ordinary soap and water are the best methods for removal of face paints. Removal with baby wipes is NOT recommended.
Finally, we should point out that face paints are very personal to each user and what one person finds easy to use another will not, so its all down to personal preference which brand of paint you prefer. There are no right or wrong brands, provided you are using a good quality product.
Please note: Some Global and Kryvaline colours, for example red, can leak oils when in transit and going from hot and cold environments. They can be recovered by placing in a warm place where they will reabsorb the oil. There is nothing wrong with the paint itself.
PLEASE NOTE: ALL CAKE FACE PAINTS ARE WATER BASED AND ARE NOT WATERPROOF. THIS MEANS THEY WILL WASH OFF WHEN YOU SWEAT, GET RAINED ON OR SIMILAR. THEY ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR PHOTO SHOOTS IN SWIMMING POOLS OR THE SEA.
Please note: Diamond FX and TAG Body Art are basically the same paints. It is down to personal preference as to which you prefer.
Ruby Red, Cameleon, Global Body Art and Kryvaline are the only vegan friendly face paints. Ruby Red are very vegan friendly.
Snazaroo, Global Body Art and Cameleon paints are the only paints that carry the CE mark.
